A real eye-catcher is the Advent calendar in XL shop window format, which was manufactured by the wood manufacturer Schlanke from Ruderting in the Lower Bavarian district of Passau.

A brilliant idea by Petra Schlanke. But how is the whole thing to be implemented? Christian Schlanke thinks briefly and goes to work:

First, he designs the wall with the cut-outs and boxes in CAD and transfers the data ready for processing to the workshop. First, the employees nest the pockets and doors made of solid-colored MDF 19 mm on the Holz-Her Dynestic with the high-performance shank-type cutter CM DP Nesting Z3+3 from LEUCO. Then the numbers were milled with the finishing cutter VHW - spiral negative from 5 mm thick MDF grey and filled with color.

To fix the illuminated boxes behind the doors, Schlanke uses Lamello Clamex P® fasteners and mills the grooves for this purpose with the profile grooving shank-type cutter DP from LEUCO. After removing the numbers, the doors are fitted and the wall is mounted in the shop window. Now it's time for filling! Together the ideas bubble up.

The exceptionally well-made XL calendar can be viewed now and in the next few days in the exhibition of the wood manufacturer Schlanke in Passauer Straße 24 in Ruderting.

Happy Advent!

We would like to thank Holzmanufaktur Schlanke for the pictures from the production and the finished calendar.
