The expanded "LEUCO nn-System" product line for all machine types was presented for the first time

Under the motto "Steps ahead! Good ideas need good tools"...
LEUCO showed its new diamond-tipped "LEUCO nn-System" at LIGNA on May 11–15, 2015 in Hanover. The abbreviation stands for "no noise". "You can hardly hear anything!" said amazed visitors at the new circular saw blades' live demo. The development engineers have done a great job. With very small chip gullets, the saw blades are among the quietest diamond-tipped blades on the market, both when idling or in action.

LEUCO's other tool solutions were also impressive:

  • The new, highly stable diamond-tipped nesting program from LEUCO meets the needs of the growing number of workshops that use the nesting procedure.
  • "Less noise while machining" is the motto of the new "LEUCO PowerTec III topline LowNoise" hogger. The PowerTec hogger is used in double end tenoners with high feed rates.
  • The visitors were especially impressed by LEUCO's new high-performance cutter head "UltraProfiler plus". On this new tool, the knives are replaced manually but quickly and with the highest precision.

Easy tool finding
First introduced on the LIGNA 2015, the new LEUCO Online-Catalog at the LEUCO website advanced to a highlight. Tools can be found easily. There are six different concrete search and filter options.

The theme "Industry 4.0" was a magnet at the trade show...
and made for lively discussion of LEUCO's study results with the expert visitors. "Industry 4.0" will bring great advantages, especially for flexible, economical production of small batches.

LEUCO in a nutshell
LIGNA had an outstanding total of 96,000 professional visitors to Hanover, from at home and abroad. When it ended after five days, it was clearly the world's most important trade show for wood processing machines, systems and tools.

The two managing directors, Frank Diez and Daniel Schrenk, confirm: "The thoroughly international character and consistently high quality of the contacts are this show's great advantages for us. Exports make up more than 70 percent of LEUCO's revenue. LEUCO is also among the tool industry's innovation leaders. For LEUCO, this makes LIGNA the most important platform for contacting crucial partners."

Personal nature's highlights

A special visitor to the LEUCO booth was Traude Gutjahr, along with her husband. Last year, during LEUCO's 60th anniversary family day, Ms Gutjahr won a two-day trip to LIGNA as a quiz prize. The couple were warmly received and were amazed at the variety of LEUCO tools.

LEUCO employee Maximilian Knauss during the LIGNA at the fair of the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences - he was awarded the Gerhard-Schuler Prize for the best bachelor thesis in 2014 of Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences, faculty Wood Technology. The LEUCO R&D department in Horb supervised his thesis about a tool concept. Since end of last year, Maximilian Knauss is working at the application engineers department with LEUCO.
