The design award praises the jointing cutter's functionality

Technology and design complement one another perfectly. It is a product designer's ambition to provide a beautiful product "for free". And this is exactly what design means in tool technology. The functions are combined intelligently to create a solution that meets the customer's needs.
 
In February 2017, LEUCO was honored by the German Design Council with a "Special Mention" in the German Design Award for its "SmartJointer" jointing cutter. Its "smart" features such as low weight, low noise and multiple use allowed it to be nominated for the competition. The "Special Mention" honors in particular the multiple use of its aluminum body. Benjamin Sitzler, Designer of the SmartJointer, and Oliver Galli, Head of R&D, were given the award are happy during a festive ceremony in Frankfurt.
