  • CNC routers
  • for finishing of acrylics and PMMA with relatively clear surfaces
  • attention: these tools are not suitable for sizing or dividing but only for polishing!

Design

  • positive spiral
  • high-quality solid tungsten carbide (VHW) with 5 cutting edges

Advantages

  • reduced production times as postprocessing is no longer necessary
  • produces relatively clear surfaces which are sufficient in many cases

Notes

  • finish milling (removal of 0.05 - 0.1 mm) at a feedrate of approx. 0.5 – 1 m/min
  • high RPM is recommended (18,000 - 24,000 min-1 or higher)
  • application against feed
  • the good quality can only be reached in connection with a precision clamping element
