LEUCO EcoKnife -
for the sake of the environment

Customers demand a reasonable balance between cost and performance, whereas the use of precious resources is watched critically. Preservation of resources means amongst others restraint use of raw materials, e.g. wolfram and cobalt as basic materials for tungsten carbide.
LEUCO follows this path now for the fi rst time with the new turnover knife „Eco-Knife“. Let´s call it a small revolution. Tungsten carbide is only used where it is needed, i.e. at the cutting edge. Areas with no supporting or rigidity determining function were minimized with regard to material employment. The raw material charge for production could be reduced in comparison with a standard turnover knife.
