In addition, the finger joint cutter is extremely economic, as the whole resharpening area can be used. HS Solid 34 proves its strength also in comparison with coated HS finger joint cutters. Coated finger joint cutters posess extreme surface hardness, however they lost toughness during the high-temperature coating process and are thus sensitive to impacts.
