His death on June 24, 2008 at the age of 86 years was unexpected to us all.

In March 1954, Mr. Josef Störzer founded the company together with Willi Ledermann.
Until June 1982 he worked for LEUCO as Managing Partner.
Even after his retirement he influenced the company´s development as a member of the supervisory board and share holder. Until the end, he felt connected and committed to the company and its employees.

Like no other, Mr. Störzer stood up for the ideals of the company. In his focus, there always was the LEUCOLANER. He described the LEUCOLANER as a cheerful person who pushes the company with all energy – according to his motto „united strength creates big things“.

In recognition of his services for the general public he was awarded the “Bundesverdienstkreuz“  in 1979.

His death hurts us deeply. We lost our great LEUCOLANER.

We mourn with his family members and will make every effort to carry on LEUCO´ business in his spirit.
