Polymethyl metacrylate (plexiglass) is increasingly used by shop display manufacturers and furniture manufacturers. So far, this material has been pre-sized and afterwards treated by means of tedious and laborious grinding and polishing methods to achieve an entirely transparent surface.

Thanks to the use of cutting tools tipped with monocryistalline diamond tips machine-manufactured workpieces can be produced at economic manufacturing costs as the sizing by means of mono-diamond tools does require small polishing efforts or none at all.

Further aspects which emphasize the economic efficiency of mono-diamond tools are the long edge life as well as the possibility to resharpen the tools several times.   

The product range includes small-diameter shank-type cutters (6 mm) as well as cutterheads designed to the customer´s specification. Together with planing cutterheads, chamfering cutters and ornamental cutters the whole range of plexiglass machining is covered.
